Ultrasonic Parking Sensor Detector
Rather than swapping sensors, use the the Pico TA329 Ultrasonic Parking Sensor Detector with your lab scope to quickly determine if the installed sensor is working properly.
The lead is 6.5-ft long.
The detector wand converts high-frequency pulses into a voltage signal a scope can display. The strength, frequency and duration of each sensor's signal can be compared to sensors to confirm suspected failures.
By directly showing the strength of the signal from a given sensor, it can also be used to identify problems with the masking of sensors due to the fitment of aftermarket accessories such as tow bars or lights.
To use the Pico TA329 Ultrasonic Parking Sensor Detector with your Snap-on scope you will need an adapter similar to the AES Flexible Adapter for Banana Plugs (AES# 08-86-F).
