Pinpoint the source and severity of vibrations with the ATS Intelligent Vibration Analyzer (iVA Quad Vibration Technology™ (four 3-axis accelerometers) to locate and identify the and then rate severity of the vibration. The iVA can locate multiple vehicle vibrations simultaneously on many systems:
► Wheel/Suspension (LF-RF-LR-RR)
► Brake (LF-RF-LR-RR)
► Driveshaft (Front-Rear)
► Engine and Engine Driven Pulleys
► Transmission and Transfer case

The iVA simplifies setup!
It eliminates the need for separate hardware such as a lab scope and J2534 device and shows where to place each accelerometer (or microphone) on the vehicle. Setup can take less than 5 minutes!

The iVA simplifies diagnosis!
It can locate multiple vehicle vibrations simultaneously and displays a vehicle topology map that highlights the severity of vibrations with advanced color coding so you do not need to analyze graphs or charts (these are available at any time).

The iVA simplifies documentation!
It generates reports that include test results with optional notes and photos along with your company's contact information. Data files can be exported and shared with other users.

Transform your customer's vibration complaints into a profit-generating service with the ATS Intelligent Vibration Analyzer (iVA).

The iVA comes with everything you need for use on your Windows based device.

iVA-modual.jpg

The Intelligent Vibration Analyzer Module™ (iVA Module) houses an advanced electronic system that contains a Data Acquisition Device (DAQ) for sampling the signals from the Smart Vibration Sensors and iVA Microphones. The iVA Module also contains a Vehicle Communications Interface (VCI) that communicates with vehicle Engine Control Modules from 1996 to present. Communication Bus Types Supported; J1850 VPW, J1850 MPW, J1850 PWM with IFR, ISO 9141-2, KPW2000, KPW2000 Slow init, and CAN.

iVA Smart Vibration Sensor

The Smart Vibration Sensor™ (SVS) uses multiple 3-axis accelerometers (X, Y and Z) to locate vibrating components. These are smart sensors in that they allow all three channels from the accelerometer to be monitored at all times. This is accomplished by summing the X, Y and Z channels being monitored within the vibration sensor itself. That way the total amplitude produced from the X, Y or Z channels is analyzed. This will enable the DAQ to read the total amplitude from all three accelerometer axis produced from the sensor providing vibration in all directions. When four vibration sensors are used the iVA DAQ can monitor 12 accelerometer (X, Y and Z) axis continuously. The iVA uses Quad Vibration Technology™ (QVT).

iVA Microphone

The iVA Microphone is an amplified 20-20KHz electric microphone that picks up sounds waves from the surrounding air. The iVA Microphone Modes then process these sound waves using a Fast Fourier Frequency (FFT), which is the default reading, a Frequency Plot (FP), or can be played with a WAV audio file that is either live or recorded. The iVA Microphone quickly attaches with a built-in neodymium rare earth magnet.

microphone-clamps.jpg

The iVA Microphone Clamp is an amplified 20-20KHz electric microphone that picks up sounds waves from the metal components. The iVA Microphone Modes then process these sound waves using a Fast Fourier Frequency (FFT), which is the default reading, a Frequency Plot (FP), or can be played with a WAV audio file that is either live or recorded. The iVA Microphone Clamp quickly attaches with a spring clamp.

iVA Stereo Jack Cable

The iVA Stereo Jack Cable is a 20 ft cable that comes in 4 colors; Yellow, Red, Green, and Blue. These cables quickly attach with neodymium rare earth magnet cable holders that are attached to the cable.

escan-dlc-cable.jpg

The iVA Data Link Connector Cable allows the iVA Module to connect to the DLC on the vehicle. This allows the iVA Module to communicate with the Engine Control Module on the vehicle.

clamps.jpg

The iVA C-Clamps attach the Smart Vibration Sensors and iVA Microphones to components that are nonmagnetic. The C-Clamps are attached using a clamping force to components made from metals such as aluminum. The Smart Vibration Sensor and iVA Microphones then attach to the flat surface of the C-Clamp.

6ft-usb-cable.jpg

The iVA USB Cable connects the iVA Module to your Windows based Personal Computer (PC). This cable allows the iVA Module to transmit data to the PC. The PC then process this data with the advanced iVA software.

usb-card-closed-sm.jpg

The iVA USB Card allows you to install the advanced iVA Program onto your PC. If you need assistance with the iVA Program or use of the iVA call ATS Support at 1-800-572-6112. ATS Support is free for 1 year and is USA based.

measuring-tape.jpg
The iVA Tape Measure is used to measure the engine pulley diameters. Both drive and driven pulleys can be tested for vibration and noise by the iVA if the pulley diameters are known.

tape.jpg

The iVA Pressure Sensitive Tape is used to attach the iVA Stereo Jack Cables to the painted surfaces of the vehicle. This tape is a residue-free tape that will not damage paint or leave any film on painted surfaces.
