560 Milliohm Meter – EV/hybrid stator winding resistance tester
The ESI 560 checks Hybrid and EV stator windings for inconsistent or out of range resistance which leads to drivability problems. Using a milliohm meter is a critical diagnostic procedure for ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and reliability of the electric motor's winding. In three phase stators, all phases should exhibit nearly identical resistance values. This is one of the higher failure rates in electric motors and 560 can help you diagnose it.
The 560 reads very low ohms accurately, using the supplied Kelvin test leads. Low Ohm resolution is 0.1 milliohm, or .00001 Ohm. Unit is also full CATIII DVOM with Volts, Ohms, Capacitance, and Milliamps capabilities with Min/Max. Also measures Diodes and has Continuity beep.
