With this 2-in-1 adapter and an off-the-shelf RJ45 Ethernet cable (sold separately), you can connect your PC to all of Tesla's current models (expect the Plaid) to view information and execute commands via Tesla Toolbox Diagnostic software.
Use this adapter with an off-the-shelf RJ45 Ethernet cable (sold separately) to connect your PC computer to the following Tesla vehicles:
- Model S (2010-2021) HSD
- Model X (2015-2021) HSD
- Model 3 (2017-2021) Sumitomo
- Model Y (2020-2021) Sumitomo
NOTE: 2022-newer models only require a CAT5 or better ethernet cable with an RJ45 connector on each end.
NOTE: 2021 Model S Plaid and Y Plaid require the "Powered Media Converter Box"
