100A AC/DC Current Clamp with PicoBNC+ (TA408 )
The Pico 100A AC/DC Current Clamp (TA408) with PicoBNC+ does not require a battery, it is powered by the scope (4225A/4425A) via the PicoBNC+ connector.
The PicoBNC+™ enables the PicoScope software to auto-configure itself for the TA408 100A AC/DC Current Clamp when used with a compatible PicoScope such as the 4225A or 4425A. Additionally, ranging is carried out automatically with no user switching required and the clamp is auto-zeroed whenever connected to the scope.
The TA408 features a larger jaw and increase range compared to the TA473 and TA496. Use this clamp for testing things like:
- Parasitic battery drains
- Gas and diesel injectors
- Solenoids
- Throttle motor functions
- EGR actuators
- Broadband 02 sensors (in conjunction with current multiplier)
- High current consumption tests up to 60 Amps (Motor lock-up test)
Measurement Range Settings: +/-2.5A, +/-5A, +/-10A, +/-20A, +/-50A, +/-100A
