With the AES uScope® Primary Ignition Probe Adapter, you can fit an 800 volt signal on the display of the uScope.
The AES Primary Ignition Probe Adapter is designed specifically for the uScope and for testing primary ignition.
Some primary ignition systems have a voltage signal which peaks at over 400 volts. The AES uScope Primary Ignition Probe Adapter makes it possible to fit a primary ignition signal on the uScope.
The probe attenuates the signal by a factor of 10 - an input voltage of 400v into the probe attenuates the signal to just 40 volts – a safe value that the uScope can easily display. This attenuation is necessary to fit the full primary ignition signal on the uScope scope display which has a max of 80 volts.
