MaxiCheck mx808 Scan Tool

Update: The latest update has given the MX808 some bidirectional controls. This includes things like EVAP tests, Active Tests, and other individual component controls.

When it comes to ultra-portability, MaxiCheck MX808 is your perfect companion. Installed with a fast quad-core processor, MX808 offers maximum convenience and swift diagnosis. The intuitive user interface makes using the device effortless through a 7-inch LCD touch screen that displays at 1024x600 quality.

Use MX808 to check and erase codes, view live data, perform basic service functions and active tests on all modules for vehicles 1996-to current. This is a great tool for DIYer as it offers the advanced features of Autels scan tools at an affordable price.

CAN-FD coverage is not included. If you need to work on 2018+ Ford or 2020+ GM vehicles, purchase the Autel CAN FD adapter or consider buying the Autel MX900.

The Service icon offers tests and functions specific to certain service needs, i.e. electronic parking brake, battery maintanance, steering angle reset etc.

The MX808 is cabled to the vehicle. It does not have any bluetooth VCI capability.

The MX808 offers wireless printing via wifi like a MaxiSYS, however, it is not a full function scanner like a MS906MAX or ms909. It lacks some bidirectional controls and the ability to code/program modules.

Will it work do ABS or AirBags or some other particular test on my car?
The most honest and most accurate answer without first performing those exact tests on your particular vehicle is, it might!

FCA vehicles 2017 and newer need the Autel 12+8 adapter cable in order to clear non-powertrain codes and perform service functions.
