the Pico TA206 maxi fuse extension lead is designed to be used with standard and maxi automotive fuses. The maxi fuse is a large blade-style fuse used to protect high-current circuits and handle large inrush currents on some vehicles. Simply remove the fuse (of the circuit you wish to test) from your fusebox and replace it with a fuse extension lead. Now insert the fuse into the extension lead. To measure the current drawn, just connect your lead.
