This less than thirty-minute presentation from the Wells Tech team of ASE-certified technicians as they explore Diagnosing Intermittent Stall Concerns.
Finding and diagnosing intermittent stalling concerns can be one of the hardest things to diagnose on modern cars. Fortunately, the engine computer has gotten much better at giving us codes and faults to help point us in the right direction. But what happens if it points you the wrong way, or if there are no codes? Join us as we look into two different case studies. A 2005 Dodge Dakota 4.7L and a 2004 Mazda Tribute 3.0L. Both vehicles had a customer complaint of intermittent engine stalling. Follow along as we explore each diagnostic path, as well as a step by step instruction on setting up our lab scope to graph sensor signals.
