Depends on the the amount of current being drawn and where it's located. If the component is in a spot where you can directly view it with the imager then probably. If the component is behind the dash or a panel and has a significant draw you might also be able to see it.

Depends on the size of the fuse, the amount of current, the ambient temp. A small 100mA draw through a 30A fuse does not produce much heat. A 250mA draw through a 5A fuse creates good amount of heat.

We do not carry a thermal camera with better performance. There may be better options, but the price becomes an issue.
