The uScope secondary ignition test lead kit has an attenuation value or 1000:1

1kV would be displayed as 1V.
If you plan on using a different set of secondary leads, consult the manufactures specification to confirm their specifications. 1000:1 and 10,000:1 are common attenuation levels, the difference will be simply moving the decimal point for your reading.
